Branded App

The Receipt Mill phone app is a white-label document capture phone app that will display your branding, not ours. The app allows your clients to capture their receipts, invoices and documents with their smart phones or tablets and then send them directly to you, their bookkeeper or accountant, in the cloud. Additionally, the app’s voice command feature allows your clients to provide extra instructions for any out-of-the-ordinary receipts.

Upload or Email

Some documents can’t be easily captured by a phone app. The Receipt Mill cloud application allows you or your clients to log in and drop documents directly into the cloud. Spreadsheets, multi-page pdfs, Word documents can all be dropped onto the ReceiptMill cloud for processing, export, storage and retrieval.

The Receipt Mill cloud application also allows you, the bookkeeper or accountant, to link Receipt Mill to an existing email inbox. Once Receipt Mill is linked to your mailbox, any attachments that your clients send to you will be available for viewing and processing in the cloud.

Documents that you or your clients send to the Receipt Mill cloud appear in your dashboard for processing, along with any voice recordings your client provided, email text or file information.

Against each document, you can record notes and tags for reference and filing. You can also record accounting information to prepare the document for export to Xero.

If you have clients using Xero, you can set up a permanent connection between Receipt Mill and your clients’ Xero accounts.

Once you’ve recorded accounting information against the document, you can export it directly to Xero. The information you’ve recorded plus the attachment will be loaded into Xero as a draft bill, ready for posting.

Receipt Mill provides you and your clients with a white-label document management system, allowing you to easily classify, store and retrieve documents in the cloud.

The Receipt Mill File Manager allows you to create unlimited folders for your clients to help you store and retrieve their important paperwork. You and your clients can add additional notations to documents along with tags and reference information to help you search and retrieve.

And did we mention that it is all white label? The Receipt Mill cloud displays your branding and colours, not ours.

How to get started

Add Organisation

Add details of your organisation or business to Receipt Mill as step one in the branding of the app.

Upload Brand

Add your logo and define your colour scheme using the Receipt Mill branding page.

Load Clients

Add your clients to Receipt Mill . You can add them individually, or import them from Excel using our client import template. Once you clients are loaded and registered, they’re sent an email with their login credentials and they’re ready to use Receipt Mill .

Invite Clients

Notify your clients that Receipt Mill is ready to use and send them a link to the Apple Store or Google Play to download the white-label Receipt Mill app.

You can configure email templates to customise the email message that your clients will receive.

Download App

Once your clients download the Receipt Mill app, they’re ready to connect. When they log into the app using their Receipt Mill login, the app is transformed to display your logo and branding.
